Remi & Nala invite you to join them as they set out on adventures and Learn-A-Word™. Best friends, Remi & Nala, enjoy spending time with family and each other. Come along with them as they explore the world and Learn-A-Word™.
Learn-A-Word™ books introduce a new word by providing a definition in the front of each book and highlight the new word in blue through out the pages. Children practice using the new word in context through out the story. Books 1-4 feature the words: Introduce, Unique, Share, and Jealous.
A portion of the proceeds are donated each March during Colon Cancer Awareness Month in memory of our co-author Dawn Holt. Diagnosed in her early 40s, Dawn fought an 8-year battle with Stage IV colon cancer. She received chemotherapy every other week for all 8 years. We wrote the first 2 Remi & Nala's Playground Books via video calls during the Covid pandemic while she was confined to home. We plotted out many stories, and now Jamie and I plan to publish the remaining books in Dawn's honor.
